I have so many beautiful images of Moygara and some of them don't fit into normal categories so here are some miscellaneous photos of animals and of snow which I love and hope you'll like them too.
What's not to love about donkies - this is just such a nice photo, mother and child. Donkies are not as common as they once were, its not that long since they were a big part of working the land and the bog in the West of Ireland but that has died out now and there are very few working donkies any more.
Another thing that is about to die out in Ireland ..... turf cutting - our only native fossil fuel which we are now banned from cutting, here is an image of how we used to do it. There is still a small amount of turf around but not for long.
Moygara in the snow - how beautiful does that look, I'm afraid we don't get regular enough snow to rent out the house as a skiing holiday home but its still a great place to be for the Christmas holidays and pretty easy access from Knock Airport.

One more snow image for this blog.
